HDC Misc Modules: Small Group Attendance Reminder Agent
The reason this agent was written is that we needed a way to notify small group leaders without having to pre-generate empty occurrence records as this caused us lots of problems and we now generate occurrence records at the time the leader takes attendance. This agent will make an attempt to determine what day of the week your group meets on (based on the selected meeting day, so if it is set to "Weekend" it will not be able to process the group). Using that information it will decide what date the small group should have last met on and act accordingly depending no the configuration.
The agent allows you to filter based on ClusterTypes and/or Topics. You can also specify if assistant leaders will receive an e-mail or only the primary group leader. Finally you can also specify the "Grace Period" before an e-mail is sent. For example you can decide wether to give leaders 2 days to take attendance before they are sent an e-mail or you can set it to 0 so they will receive an e-mail the following morning.

RefreshCache: E-mail notifications working again
Sorry everyone, I did an update to redmine (and reviewboard) recently and misspelled a config file name which broke e-mail notifications. I didn't realize it until today but it is fixed now.
HDC Check-in Modules: Version 2.2.1 Released
The suite of check-in support modules (known to some as just Family Registration) has been updated to version 2.2.1. Some of the new features and bug fixes include:
- Family Registration now allows you to assign and remove people from tags.
- Family Registration will now longer throw an exception if the Person Attributes or Personal Phone numbers module settings are empty.
- Attendance Details re-print function now works with the latest CCCEV Check-in release of 1.3.x, there is a new module setting that allows you to pick which print provider to use.
HDC Check-in Modules: HDC Check-in Modules 2.1 Released
An update to the HDC Check-in Module Suite has been released. A new module has been added in this version which helps the user build a service that encompasses multiple locations and various attendance types through an easy to use drag-and-drop interface.
HDC Google Maps: Version 2.0 released
This release adds many new features, among them are:
- New Map View module which replaces the old KMLDownloader. This new module provides the ability to view information on a Google Map from inside Arena without requiring Google Earth to be installed. It also provides functionality to add the people displayed to a new tag or to download for use in Google Earth offline.
- New Small Group Locator module based on the Google Map API. Provides a GUI view of the small groups as well as an (optional) list view of the small groups. Also provides filtering to the end-user.
- New People In Range module which allows the user to generate a list of people within the specified distance of the address entered. This makes answering the question "how many people live within x distance of this address" or communicating with people based on their location trivially easy.
- New GoogleMap WebControl which can be used in your own modules to provide a map representation of where people or things are located.
Note: Due to the way Internet Explorer works, if the page containing a Google Map is on SSL, the user will be prompted to allow non-secure information to be displayed. This can confuse the user, the best way around this is to either use non-SSL when possible (such as for the Small Group Locator) or use Firefox or Safari.
RefreshCache: ReviewBoard Upgrades
- You can now upload images (such as screen shots or mock-ups) and leave comments on them by highlighting an area of the image.
- When leaving a comment on a line of code you can now drag over a number of lines to leave a comment on the whole group of lines to provide more context for others.
- Once you log-in to ReviewBoard you will automatically be added to all review groups for projects in which you are a Manager or Developer.
- When creating a new Review Request the project's review group will automatically be added to the request for you.
RefreshCache: Redmine upgrades
Tonight I upgraded the Redmine system to version 1.0.3. This is a bug-fix release from the previous 1.0.0 version we were running. It fixes a few bugs such as the "Add File" or "Add News" buttons being missing and a glitch during Wiki File Uploads.
HDC Google Maps: Version 1.1 released
Announcing the release of version 1.1 of the Google Maps package. This package provides the ability to export data directly to Google Earth for viewing.
Fixes the following bugs:
Modules no longer cause a conflict with the standard 2010.1.100 modules.
Exporting membership from tags no longer includes in-active members. (Issue #325)
No longer crashes when clicking google icon for a list that is not a person list. (Issue #326)
The populate campus option on export now actually works properly. (Issue #328)
RefreshCache: Upgrades to the RC server hardware
We bumped the virtual hardware for the Linux RC server (Redmine, Reviewboard, SVN) from a single CPU with 512MB RAM up to a dual CPU with 2GB RAM. This should help improve speed and everything else.
